Server Rules

1. No team wounding or team killing is allowed. If you were accidentally team wounded or team killed, or killed during heavy combat, please try to be generous in your punishment (or just forgive the person). If you continually team wound or team kill you will face the consequences.

2. No profanity or drug references are allowed. There are, often times, children playing on Our Server. If it is a blocked word do not go around it with a change in spelling or with punctuation marks. If profanity becomes an issue you will face the consequences. Acronyms of swears are NOT allowed.

3. Do not call anyone degrading or offensive names. Do not put fellow players down. We all started out as beginners and had to learn the game. Instead of insulting or flaming an individual try to be helpful and understanding. This will provide a better atmosphere for all players, members and visitors alike.

4. No offensive names or sprays allowed. If a member, moderator or administrator tells you to change your name please do so immediately. If you don't within a reasonable time you will have your name changed for you. If your spray is vulgar or you repeatedly attempt to use an offensive name you will face the consequences.

5. The broadcasting of IP addresses is forbidden on these servers. If you are found to be broadcasting IPs you will face the consequences.

6. The recruiting of regulars from these servers is not allowed. If you are caught recruiting you will be automatically kicked and/or banned at the discretion of the highest leveled member on the server at the time. To clarify: if you meet someone on this server and ask them to join your clan, you are in violation of this rule. Both you and the recruited will be banned. (The player you are attempting to recruit may already be in our recruiting system and not know it yet!)

7. CHEATERS WILL BE BANNED! If you cheat you not only break a rule of these servers, but you also disrespect the clan you are a member of! If you are banned by vac you are banned from [0SC], If you get a new steamid we will ban it as well. If vac unbans you so will we. Ghosting will be considered cheating, with the exception of informing of an AFK.

8. If an administrator, moderator or member tells you to do something please do not argue with him or her. If you have a problem, talk to him or her away from the game, either on these forums or using another chat medium. It is an embarrassment to the clan for a moderator, member or regular of the server to show disrespect to someone in a higher position of authority.

9. If you see a person violating any of these rules and do not report them to an administrator, moderator or member then (within reason) YOU are just as guilty as the rule breaker, and could be subject to the consequences described below.

10. No spawn killing. No mic spamming.

11. You must make every effort to complete map objective. (i.e. Counter-Terrorist must rescue hostages on cs_ maps, and Terrorist must plant bomb on de_ maps.) Any disruption of normal game play is not allowed.

12. Do not call players cheaters (hacker) without proof i.e. demos.

13. If a person is playing on the server and you know they are banned you need to report that they are on the server and playing. If you don't report that you will be banned. Please get steam id also.

14. No team stacking. For instance, if team A has a score of 15 and team B has a score of 1 then the teams are stacked. How many players on each team means nothing.

15. If an admin or moderator is incognito, do NOT call out their identity. This will result in punishment, as it prevents them from doing their job effectively.

 

Member Rules

1. You must wear your clan tag at all times. Proper displaying of the tag is in front of the player name. At this time the official tag of this clan is: [0SC].

2. You should strive to show a level of respect to all members of the clan, regardless of position or title. "I don't like that person" is NOT an acceptable reason for showing disrespect and may subject you to administrative punishments if the situation worsens.

3. As as member of the clan, it is your duty to make sure you never abuse privileges bestowed upon you. The powers given are to assist in dealing with individuals who break the rules. If you abuse your privileges you will be subject to a warning. The next time you will face administrative punishments ranging from loss of status to outright dismissal from the clan.

4. All [0SC] members are given, at a minimum, the ability to perform basic votes to kick individual from the server and to change maps. Please remember that all commands given to you are privileges that can be revoked if used improperly.

5. You may change your name as long as enough of your original name is left to easily identify you. Any thing not identifiable will be assumed an imposter and kicked immediately.

6. If you decide to quit the clan and you pm an admin, you have 24 hours to decide against it and re-pm the admin, If you post that you quit the clan in Public, Members or Moderators forums then you will be removed immediately without recourse.


7. Keep a cool head at all times. The reason you are in [0SC] is not only because you are a skilled player, but also because you have a good attitude. Keep this in mind while you are playing.

8. Do NOT use your privileged commands without permission from the highest [0SC] member currently on the server. Any say, chat, psay, csay etc.. does not require permission before use. If a senior rank is afk or not heard from (ask if they are there by typing and verbal), for 3 rounds treat them as if they are not there. (this includes spectators). If you request to kick someone for cursing and you get no response from senior rank after 30 seconds, you may kick them. (request must be at minimum typed). Any public command will NOT be considered privileged.

9. A member's immediate family can become a recruit if the member sponsors the immediate family member and accepts full responsibility (and consequences) for their actions. Just inform the [0SC] members by making a post in the forums. The family member will follow the rules for a new recruit. Your family member's recruitment will not affect your ability to sponsor a recruit.

10. You are NOT allowed to be in any other clan while in [0SC]. (Subject to the Grandfather clause)

 

Recruit Sponsoring

1. A member may only sponsor 1 player in a 6 month time period.

2. You must be at least a senior member before sponsoring a player.

3. The first step is to post who you intend to sponsor, So that we may discuss him (her) for 1 week. Then start the poll.

4. All polls must have only 2 option #1 Yes and #2 No in that order. It is the responsibility of sponsoring member to keep up with time in forums and notify admin accordingly.

5. The poll will remain in Voting forums for 2 weeks, after which (if passes) the recruit must wear the -r- for 3 weeks. Anytime during these 6 weeks admins can cancel his -r- and not allow the player in.

6. If you sponsor a player that starts trouble in first 3 months (from date poll put up) you will lose right to Sponsor for 1 year. (This can be overridden by admins).

7. Under no circumstance will there be allowed more than 3 recruits in forums at once.

8. All polls require at least 30% of all members to vote to be valid.

9. All polls require at least 65% yes to pass.

10. You only have 7 days to accept membership. after that offer expires.

11. Being a recruit does not guarantee acceptance in to [0SC]. Failure to follow the member rules as well as the general rules may disqualify you from membership. In addition to the clan tag you must also wear the -r- . at all times during the recruiting process. This is 21 days from the first time you are asked to wear the -r-

12. It is the responsibility of the sponsor to keep track of all dates pertaining to a recruit.

13. An admin has the right to bypass part(s) or all of the Recruit Sponsoring rules.

 

Kick and Ban Rules

Members, Moderators and Admins

1. Do not harass individuals on the server because you are an administrator, moderator or member of the clan.

2. When a player does something wrong make sure to inform him or her of the error. If he or she does it again you may then kick him or her. Give at least a second chance before kicking him or her. THIS APPLIES TO NEW PLAYERS ONLY. Regulars are expected to know the rules on this page and are subject to being kicked or banned without notice.

3. Perform a map vote before changing maps. Do not change maps unless the general consensus seems to be that the current map is unacceptable to the current population of the server. Remember that, while you may have a favorite map, not everyone has the same favorite map. Your favorite may not be their favorite.

4. You must obey the general rules and member rules and enforce them at all times. (Moderators and Administrators: these two groups are exempt from member rule #5 since Administrators and Moderators are allowed to use aliases. If an alias is used members ranking below you DO NOT have to ask to use their access.) Also, moderators and admins who are using an alias can not have their original name, a variation of their name, or clan tag on, as it will defeat the entire purpose of using an alias.

5. As a Moderator or Administrator, if you blow your cover and use a privileged command which broadcasts your current alias to the server or affects a target, inform the affected people of who you are.

6. Keep the server a fun and clean place to play.

7. If by RCon or by the server logs you are caught misusing your admin privileges you will be subject to administrative punishments as described in the member rules.

8. Do not slap people for no reason. "...because he or she killed me!" is not a valid reason. Neither is "...because he or she was going to defuse the bomb!"

9. Members must post ALL kicks in the forums. (Administrators and Moderators are exempt from this rule)

 

Grandfather Clause

(NOTE: This ONLY applies to [0SC] members who joined before 7-24-2003!)

If you are already in another clan besides [0SC] you may remain in that clan. You are not allowed to join another clan under any circumstances after becoming [0SC].

Forum Rules

1. Do not put anyone down or call them names. (this includes insinuations ).

2. Do not curse (cuss, profanity, foul language, or dirty talk).

3. Do not lie.

4. Do not start unnecessary crap.

5. Do not repeat what you see in a forum, except with persons with access to the same forum.

6. Do not post ip's.

7. Do not recruit anyone that is using these forums, only [0SC] members are allowed to recruit here.

8. Do not criticize (except constructive criticism).

9. No flaming.

10. Do not use an image in your signature larger than 500 X 150 pixels or several images which exceed 500 X 150 pixels. Anything larger will be deleted and if you continue to exceed max you will be banned from forums. You may use our signature hosting site but don't abuse it. http://osc3.com/osc-pics/sigs/sig.cgi

11. Do not use an avatar larger than 200 X 200 pixels. Anything larger will be deleted and if you continue to exceed max you will be banned from forums.

12. You may not use more than 10 emoticons per post.

13. Do not put or link any images that can be deemed inappropriate on the forums.

14. Do not post bumps on unanswered threads unless they have received no replies for at least two days.

 


Teamspeak Rules

1. Our regular players may use the lobby of our TeamSpeak server providing they agree with these rules and post accordingly. 

2. All channels (except Lobby) are for [0SC] members and -r-‘s only. [0SC] members may invite who you like, but they must stay in the same channel as you, and leave when you do.

3. You are required to inform visitors of these rules. It is not others responsibility to tell Joe Blow Why he cant be here when you aren't.

4. Cursing and drug references are strictly forbidden. Mild language is acceptable in the PG-13 and match channels. If you don’t know the difference between mild and vulgar keep your mouth shut.

5. The order for permissions are: Admins: SA Members: CA Recruits: AO Team Members: AV Visitors: V

6. You are not allowed to kick your clan mates out of the channel.

7. You may not call others names or insinuate anything to the such.

8. Ghosting in Team Speak is not allowed.

9. During meetings you will only be allowed to speak in turn. Turns will be in order requested. For instance: when you would like to speak you type "my turn" in chat. We will follow the list down until you get your turn. On occasion you will be allowed rebuttal without having to wait for a turn. admins will decide the order.

11. Non [0SC] members must announce when they come into a room and who has invited them in! If you don't do this or lie about this you will be banned from TS.

12. No mic spamming.
